What's the average penis size and do women really care?
By Laura Mitchell / Published 23rd November 2015
The length of your manhood isn't as important as you think it is
Penis size is a huge topic of anxiety for a lot of men. And if you feel you're lacking in the trouser department it can affect your confidence – which can then have a negative affect on your love life.
But how big is 'normal' and do women really care about the size of your package? Here, we reveal the answers to all your burning questions.
Whether your well-endowed or lacking in the trouser department, there are sex position
. WHAT IS AVERAGE?
Penises come in all shapes and sizes and there really isn't such thing as 'normal', but a recent study has revealed the average todger size.
The mean length of the erect penis is about 5.2 inches (13.2cm) in length and 4.6 inches (11.7cm) in circumference.
And at normal temperatures a non-erect penis usually measures 3.6 inches (9.1cm) from tip to base and 3.7 (9.3cm) inches in circumference.
Most men fall into the 'normal' range, however some men suffer from a micropenis condition. This is defined as 2.5 inches or less when fully erect.
At the other end of the spectrum is someone like Jonah Falcon, the man who currently holds the record for the largest penis.
His huge dong measures 13.5 inches erect, making it extremely difficult if not impossible to have penetrative sex.
*** How many calories a woman burns giving oral sex will shock you ***
2. WHAT SIZE DO WOMEN PREFER?
Unfortunately for most men, women prefer a bigger-than-average schlong, according to research by the University of California Los Angeles and the University of New Mexico.
The study revealed that women prefer a penis that is 6.3 inches long with a 4.8 inch girth for long-term relationships.
And when it comes to one night stands they want a whopping 6.4 inches in length and a 5 inch circumference.
The research lead by Dr Nicole Prause, asked 75 female participants to choose which size and shape they preferred.
They used 100 plastic 3D-printed phalluses to conduct the research and unfortunately for the average Joe it seems women are expecting a lot.
GETTY SEX: Unfortunately for the average Joe, women prefer a 6-inch schlong
3. DOES SIZE REALLY MATTER?
The information above may have left you in a state of panic, but fear not – size isn't as important as you might think.
In fact, the largest and most comprehensive study of men and women’s reasons to have sex, found that penis size wasn't even mentioned.
The study identified 237 different motivating factors including facial attractiveness, eyes, and general attraction – but schlong size didn't get a look in.
Another recent study asked women to rank in order seven penis attributes. Girth was ranked fourth and length sixth.
The top three were general appearance, pubic hair appearance, and penile skin. In other words, even when forced to choose amongst a set of penis features, size didn’t really matter that much to the women in the study.
4. DOES HER SATISFACTION DEPEND ON YOUR SIZE?
There is no real evidence that a bigger penis means more pleasure. Firstly, most women orgasm from clitoral stimulation anyway, in which case size doesn't matter.
Also, the G-spot is located just 2 inches into the vagina on the front wall. So as long as you've got a few inches you should be able to pleasure her in this way too.
The reality is size really doesn't matter. Whether your well-endowed or lacking in the trouser department, there are sex positions that can work for any size or shape.

Miley Cyrus wears fake breasts, prosthetic penis in outrageous Dead Petz tour
This that penis envy I see!

Plastic prop: Miley loves performing with inflatables in her shows
If anyone was going to have an gallery of themselves with various blow-up inflatables it was always going to be Miley Cyrus.
Miley has hit the headlines again after dancing with an inflatable penis on the Chicago leg of her Bangerz tour.
In a flesh flashing, barely-there sequin leotard, Miley gyrated around the stage with the blow-up willy before finally pressing it against her crotch as the inflatable grinned manically at the audience. Yes, the penis had a face.
And of course, what Miley moment would be complete without her sticking out her tongue as she played with her new plastic toy?

Nut up or shut up: Handful of walnuts can increase sperm count

All men out there, you’ll want to eat walnuts everyday now. Researchers say the simple way to boost male fertility could be gobbling a handful of walnuts.
“The initial research we conducted regarding walnuts and male fertility found improvement in sperm parameters after adding walnuts to the diet and has set the stage for us to further explore the impacts of walnuts on male fertility and reproductive health,” Professor Wendie Robbins, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Nursing.

“New projects are underway that we hope to be able to share with you in the near future,” she told PTI.
Infertility and sub-fertility affect a significant proportion of humanity and the burden in men is relatively unknown.
10 Things You Need to Know Before You Become a Sperm Donor
Sperm
1. In August, there was a predictable media hoo-ha when Laura Witjens, chief executive of The National Sperm Bank admitted that since opening their doors eleven months earlier, just nine men had registered as sperm donors.
2. To be fair, although just nine men registered, many more probably tried to volunteer. Sperm donor screening is so rigourous that only one in 10 applicants make it through the testing process.
3. Some men are put off before they even start. Because screening can reveal issues about future fertility, current health and the health of any existing, or future children, men are, quite rightly, advised to think very carefully before they decide to donate sperm.
4. Others are dissuaded by the fact that a donor-conceived child who is born with an abnormality could sue them for damages if it can be proven that they failed to divulge relevant facts about inherited disabilities or physical/mental illnesses that had affected anyone in their family.
5. Inevitably, a percentage of potential donors are rejected because their sperm is poor quality. One in five men aged under 25 have a low sperm count and because sperm quantity and quality decline with age, donors must be aged between 18 and 40.
6. Sperm donation is a time consuming commitment too. Although it only takes about sixty seconds to provide the actual sample, it takes the National Sperm Bank nine months to confirm that it is healthy and viable.
7. That is largely because all sperm donations have to be frozen for six months to quarantine for HIV and Hep B. Because the freezing process kills off a percentage of sperm, even ordinarily acceptable sperm donations may be rendered unusable after the thawing process. To screen for this possibility, all initial sperm samples are frozen and put through a test thaw to ensure that they will survive the quarantine process.
8. If a sperm sample survives this battery of testing, the donor is invited to a second appointment where he is asked to give a blood sample. This is used to determine blood group, to screen for common genetic disorders and to check for sexually transmitted infections. Men may also be required to provide a urine sample and they must permit the clinic to contact their GP to confirm that they are suitable donors. If there are anomalies in the bloods, the clinic will offer support and guidance, but the donor will be rejected.
9. If the screening process is successful, the donor is expected to provide weekly donations for a period of about six months. In return, he receives thirty five quid per donation to cover his time and expenses. Once the six-month quarantine period is over, he is asked to provide some information about himself for registration with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA). He will also be asked to write something about himself for women who receive his sperm and any children born as a result of their donations.
10. At this, the final furlong, the few good men who haven't succumbed to rejection or exhaustion, may yet decide to quit. In the past, sperm donors were allowed to remain anonymous, but in 2005, the law changed and since then, any children born as a result of sperm or egg donation have a right to identify their genetic parents once they reach the age of 18. Its all very well having an altruistic orgasm over an adult magazine, but the prospect of umpteen adult offspring knocking on your door in 2033, clutching a tattered photocopy of whatever you have bothered to scribble is a very sobering thought. While no one is willing to directly associate the loss of anonymity with the decline in donations, it is telling that nine years after the law changed, the National Sperm Bank was established to try to counter a serious shortage of donor sperm. The National Sperm Bank estimates that it needs 1000 new registered donors every year to meet UK demand so.... only another 991 to find before Christmas. Good luck with that.

10 Fun Facts You Didn’t Know About Masturbation
“Hello, sex for one please, and plenty of it.”
Masturbation. A night in for one. Playing with your hand or flicking the bean. Eurgh. Bean.
Whatever you want to call it, you’re aware of it and you probably do it yourself. The history of masturbation isn’t exactly a pleasant one as it used to be considered destructive to living a good and moral lifestyle; so it didn’t just make you a bad person in the eyes of society, but it was also thought to damage your state of mind. All that power in one hand…, Of course, masturbating doesn’t cause you any physical harm (unless you’re a bit too, erm, vigorous) and it most definitely doesn’t mess with your psychological state in the way that the Victorians believed that it did. But don’t worry because it’s common, it doesn’t make you dirty and it’s instinctive behaviour for both men and women.
But here are some fun facts that you might not have known about the act of masturbation.
10. Humans Aren’t The Only Species To Masturbate
2. There’s No Such Thing As ‘Too Much’
When it comes to masturbation, there’s no such thing as right, wrong, too little or too much. As long as you’re healthy, sexually satisfied and confident, then no one is going to tell you to stop or to do it more often. However, the only time it will become a problem is if you feel like you can’t function without doing it. If you find yourself skipping work to pleasure yourself or you’re turning away from your partner to spend more time alone in the bedroom, then you should seek some professional advice.
1. But Back In The Day, It Could Have Killed You
In 1656, you could have been executed if you were caught masturbating. In Connecticut, the New Haven Law meant that if someone else witnessed you participating in this act, then it was up to jurors to decide whether or not you would get to live or die. But in 2013, Miley Cyrus pretty much did it with a rubber glove on stage in front of thousands. How times have changed… Is an orgasm really worth dying for? Probably.

10. Humans Aren’t The Only Species To Masturbate
Did you think that you were the only living species on this planet that has needs, sexual needs? Just because you have a conscious, the ability to think rationally and walk and talk, does make you any different from the likes of birds, apes and horses. That’s right, you all have one thing in common: you love to jerk off. Whenever these animals feel like they’re in the mood for some lovin’, they’ll just do it, there and then. They don’t even care if anyone is watching. And that’s definitely the biggest difference between you and these animals; it’s not that you can’t fly, it’s because you don’t like an audience.
9. How Many Times A Month Do People Masturbate On Average?
After looking at a number of recent surveys that people have taken to investigate how many times men and women masturbate in a month, this is the conclusion. Men masturbate more than women and they started at a younger age. Most women didn’t start until their late teens or 20s until they were mature enough for sex in the first place. The reason behind it wasn’t primarily for pleasure wither, it was because they wanted to become more comfortable with their own bodies. So women masturbate on average around 5 times a month, whereas as men find the time to do it around 12. Be honest, you thought those numbers were going to be higher didn’t you?
8. Make Sure You Use Lubrication
The whole point of masturbating is to feel comfortable in your own skin, boost your confidence in the bedroom and to discover what feels good and what doesn’t. Many people don’t even need to orgasm because they’re too busy concentrating on what feels good. However, if you’re using your own saliva as lubricant, it’s probably not the best idea. This is because it can disrupt the bacteria and cause yeast infections.
7. It’s A Form Of Mild Cardio
For women at least, and it’s very, very mild. Your heart rate still increases along with your breathing and you’ll even find yourself sweating. You also know that you can have a guaranteed orgasm without getting pregnant or contracting an STI. But for boys, masturbating is very different to sex, and it’s not because of that one obvious reason. When men ejaculate on their own, their body responds differently to it. They have a lower sperm count and it doesn’t give them the added health benefits of what having sex gives. But there are other health benefits that ‘come’ with this act. It can lower the risk of diabetes, reduce back or leg pain, reduce the risk of a heart attack and it even makes your hair shinier. You’re doing it now aren’t you? All in the name of your health of course…

6. The Vibrator Was Invented To Cure Hysteria
Symptoms of hysteria included fainting, anxiety, fatigue, depression and emotional instability. So how were these symptoms treated? By female arousal of course. Doctors would make house calls to women who were suffering from hysteria and would treat this diagnosis by giving them a ‘healing massage.’ That’s right, husbands would pay another man to pleasure their wives and that’s because women were not supposed to enjoy sex or be sexual people. But sexual stimulation was only acceptable if there was a medical reason for it. Seems legit. Of course, not all doctors would use penetration as a way of making their clients orgasm and using their hands all of the time began to tire them out. In comes the vibrator. These magical devices were strictly kept in doctor’s offices for medical purposes only, but then bigger companies started manufacturing them and began to sell them in very subtle advertising spots in women’s magazines. Unfortunately, this treatment didn’t actually cure the hysteria as clients kept on making repeat appointments with their doctors… Hysteria as a disease was eventually made obsolete in the 1950s.

5. There’s A Reason Why Some Vibrators Look Like A Rabbit
Most women who own a Rampant Rabbit want to explore their sexuality, that’s a given. But it’s also probably because it provides them with a penetrative and clitoral orgasm, but it also looks like a freaking bunny rabbit! Who would have thought that a vibrator could be cute? The Japanese, that’s who. In Japan, it’s illegal to create sex toys that actually look like a penis, so they designed the rabbit vibrator instead and also showed the Japanese government their middle finger at the same time.
4. People Don’t Tend To Remember The Last Time They Masturbated
4. People Don’t Tend To Remember The Last Time They Masturbated
Unless it was last night or two minutes ago, can you really remember the last time that you had a party for one? However, this is more common with men as it is with women because every time a man ejaculates, they lose vital neurochemicals involved with concentration and memory. Having said that, the other reason that people don’t tend to remember the last time that they jerked off can potentially be attributed to the thought process that masturbation is still seen as taboo and inappropriate. They might not even own up to it. But still, it’s not like everyone marks the calendar after they’ve gotten a little bit frisky with themselves.
3. It Will Make You Better And More Confident In Bed
And not just with yourself. Many people get offended if their partner masturbates, but sometimes you just need to feel comfortable in your own skin. And because you’re able to figure out what you like, you’re able to tell your partner too, making it a much more enjoyable experience when you’re in bed together. You’ll also know your limits and it will eventually make you more comfortable having sex in the long term.

Sexual Fetish: What is Sploshing?
Sploshing is a term used to describe a sexual fetish that involves smearing the body with wet and messy substances.
According to Kinkly.com, the most common substances used during sploshing are food items, including whipped cream, chocolate sauce, custard, cake and condiments, just to name a few. Other messy substances, such as mud, can also be used. Individuals aroused by sploshing are sexually aroused by watching someone get messy or by the feeling of these substances being smeared on their own skin.

20. Watch your alcohol consumption.
Most people can vouch that alcohol gets in the way of great sex. It's true, after having one too many glasses of wine we're canoodling our lover, but alcohol is NOT an aphrodisiac, in fact, it's anything but. Heavy drinking hampers your sexual performance with women experiencing reduced lubrication and increased difficulty achieving an orgasm.

20 OMG Sex Positions For A Small Penis
Sex can be a pretty awkward affair sometimes but if your guy isn't so 'blessed downstairs', that's not to say you can't have an incredible sex life. They say size matters, but we think it's how you use it that really counts. If your man has a small penis then there's no reason why you can't have a mind-blowing sex session every time. Society seems to suggest that men with big slongs will always come out on tops but don't be so sure...
So let's get down to it! These sex positions are guaranteed to make the most of what he's got for maximum pleasure...
1. Doggy Style
Doggy Style is one of the go-to-orgasm moves out there - great for your guy and for your G-spot.
2. The Hound
It might look like only a slight variation on doggy style but believe us, arching your back makes a hell of a difference.
3. The Fan
We highly recommend getting props involved in sex, and when your guy isn't gigantic they can be incredibly handy to help you get into the prime positions for orgasmic penetration.
4. The Magic Mountain
In the same way, pillows make excellent props for this position. Kneel in front of the pillows and lean forward over it, he kneels behind you, with his legs on the outside of yours as he leans over you and penetrates from behind.
5. The Sphinx
For the sphinx position lie on your stomach with your weight on your forearms with one leg outstretched behind and the other bent out to the side.
6. Reverse Cowgirl
The reverse cowgirl is arguably one of the best sex positions out there. The guy lies on his back as you sit on top of him, facing the opposite direction.
7. The X Rated
Extend your legs in this position for extra deep penetration and extra clitoral contact. If nothing else, this will be a great angle for him - so let him enjoy himself!
8. The Curled Angel
More exciting than you might think, the Curled Angel or Sexy Spoon - is a great position for more than one reason.
9. The Nirvana
A little twist on the traditional missionary position, the Nirvana introduces you to some intense sexy moves.
10. The Slide
This position might not be the most imaginative but you'll be surprised at how tight you feel around him.
11. The Splitting Bamboo
For this position lie down on your back and lift up your leg. Let your man straddle you and sit across your thighs, lifting the other leg onto his shoulder.
12. The Butterfly
With a small penis, getting the angle right for penetration is key. By tilting your pelvis up like this, you allow him deeper entry and easy-access to your G-spot.
13. The Eagle
Again this position is all for penetration purposes. Your guy sits on his knees legs spread, in front of you.
14. The Crossed Keys
We're mixing it up again, this is basically the Eagle but on a table, with a little something extra. In the Crossed Keys sex position you lie as you would for the Eagle, but on top of a raised surface with your bum on the edge and your legs crossed instead of splayed.
15.The Hero
The Hero uses the same principles. By tilting your pelvis your guy will be able to penetrate deeper - meaning hopefully you'll be able to get that earth-shattering orgasm.
16. The Dolphin
If you and your man feel like taking it a little further then The Dolphin is the position for you!
17. The Deckchair
This position is all about the penetration. Get your guy to support himself by leaning back on his hands while sitting legs outstretched in the Deckchair sex position.
18. The Reclining Lotus
With a beautiful name comes a beautiful feeling, the Reclining Lotus position is a move set to guarantee orgasm. By hitching your legs up and positioning your feet on his hips you shorten the vaginal canal allowing him prime access to your play zone.
19. Bandoleer
Step it up a notch with the Bandoleer your G spot will be getting all the attention it needs. Lie on your back with your knees up towards your chest with your man kneeling and facing you so you can put your feet on his chest.
20. The Snail
One of our tried and tested faves - the snail is a sure-fire way to get you going. Lying flat, pull your knees into your chest and throw your feet over the shoulders of your partner.

Have Technology-Riddled Sex Toys Taken the ‘Sexy’ Out of Masturbation?

Sex toys of past, the ones you think of immediately when talked about, have been recognizably sex toys. They’ve been in the shapes of the genitalia that we all know and love. They’ve been a bit tacky but also endearing. They’ve also been luxury items that you feel fancy owning. They haven’t looked like Das Sound Machine from Pitch Perfect 2 would carry them around on their belts like gun holsters.
“We work with a European designer to design all of our products so that from a visual perspective, the products are visually appealing…and feel even better,” Dunham says. “In the last decade or so, due to the Apple design phenomena, consumers are expecting and wanting high design in all of their consumer goods and that has impacted our industry as well. Design has also been influenced by the changing cultural shifts and the stigmas associated with this industry, as more toy brands are striving to break into more mainstream channels. A softer, non-phallic and approachable design will help support these channel opportunities.”
After deciding to go down this road of conversation, I was sent the Eva, a handsfree vibrator that is the #1 crowdsourced sex toy out right now. And to be honest, I was a little confused. The toy itself looks kind of like a small frog, where the “leg” parts are supposed to fit into the folds of your labia majora. It literally could be mistaken for anything else except a sex toy, but it was created because someone (probably multiple someone’s) wanted it.
“I don’t think most sex toy users are attempting to replace genitalia and therefore aren’t interested in these toys resembling genitalia,” says Alex Fine, the cofounder of Dame Products who manufactures the Eva. “On the flip side, I feel that luxury designer toys have gotten so preoccupied with looking like luxury ‘pleasure objects’ that they often put form before function.”
“Designing luxury sex toys is like designing smartphones or luxury cars: everything needs to be considered and tested and tweaked,” says Steve Thomson, LELO Director of Marketing. “In the end, if the customer doesn’t even notice how much work went into a product, we consider that a success.”
“There’s a temptation in the pleasure industry to assume that more gadgetry, more functions, more flashing lights and more gimmicks all equal a better sex toy,” says Thomson, “but our experience has taught us just the opposite: simplicity and fine design are what really matter.”
Having Sex Twice A Week Reduces Chance of Heart Attack by Half
Men who have sex at least twice a week can almost halve their risk of heart disease, according to new research.
It shows men who indulge in regular lovemaking are up to 45 percent less likely to develop life-threatening heart conditions. The study, of over 1,000 men, did not examine whether women benefit too.
The researchers who carried out the investigation are calling for doctors to screen men for sexual activity when assessing their risk of heart disease.

5 Doctors Answer: Should You Have Anal Sex?
By Laura Beck
.
Since a lot of the information floating around out there about anal sex is purely anecdotal, Cosmopolitan.com spoke with five doctors about whether or not you should get into butt play. Here's what they told us.
Pro: It's Relatively Safe
1. "Medically there no reasons not to have anal sex, just follow safer sex practices as you're at a slightly higher risk for STI transmission. You also have to be mindful though of not having anal sex then vaginal sex without changing the condom." —Michael Krychman, MD
2. "From a medical standpoint, anal sex is safe if you take the usual safe sex precautions, such as condoms and dental dams, and loads of lube, since the anus is typically much tighter than the vagina. Many women enjoy anal play due to the incredibly rich nerve supply and heightened sensitivity and the added bonus of not having to worry about getting pregnant. On the flip side, many women are really turned off by anal sex and the fear of soiling themselves. Washing well and/or using an enema beforehand is an option that would make this less likely." —Alyssa Dweck, MD
3. "Anal sex is so pleasurable to many women because our bodies really do have a very, very rich cluster of nerves surrounding the anus. There's a reason why we like to be kissed on our lips, more than on maybe our elbow, because our lips have more nerve endings. That said, if you're engaging in anal sex, you have to take more precautions from an STD standpoint. If you're not in a mutually monogamous relationship then you should absolutely be using condoms for protection. Any time people have intercourse, even vaginal, there could be microscopic tears, which is how people catch viral STDs. But if you use lubricant, you'll reduce those tears, which could decrease your risk of transmitting a viral STD." —Jennifer Gunter, MD
Con: There's Increased Risk
4. "One concern about anal sex is related to the transmission of HPV. Certain strains of HPV do cause cancer, and with anal intercourse, HPV infections in this area can lead to anal cancer. There have been studies documenting that people who have had anal penetration by multiple partners are more likely to develop carcinoma of the anus, so be monogamous and use a condom. Other reasons to proceed with caution with anal sex is the risk of infection with E. Coli. You can also develop urinary tract infections, as well as infections of the bowel from anal intercourse. Repetitive tearing and injury to muscles of the anus can affect someone's ability to control their bowel movements, and can result in fecal incontinence or inability to hold stool effectively inside, until they make it to the bathroom. Although not common, a more serious injury such as a penetration or tear in the colon or bowel can occur, which would require an invasive surgery to correct." —Karen Elizabeth Boyle, MD, FACS
5. "Anal sex play cannot cause pregnancy, but it can easily pass infection. So if a condom breaks during anal sex, talk to a health care provider or your nearest Planned Parenthood health center about STD testing. If you're mainly having anal sex as a method of birth control, you can talk to the doctors while you're there about getting on birth control so you don't have to worry about pregnancy." —Vanessa Cullins, MD

9 Vagina Things Guys Don't Care About
1. The way you've chosen to arrange your pubic hair.
Pubic hair is to your vagina (or penis) the way a lawn is to a house: Most people aren't going to be too bothered by it as long as it looks like someone lives there. It doesn't have to be perfectly manicured. No one wants a spooky, boarded-up vagina that looks like a haunted house, but other than that, it's all good.
2. The way your labia look.
Some vaginas have big lips, small lips, lips that stick out, or lips you can barely see. Just like all of God's creatures, they are all beautiful. You might see your vagina's entrance as a tentacle-monster we'll have to bat away with an oar like a salty fisherman. We just see it as a vagina.
3. How big (or small) it is.
I'm sure, somewhere out there, extremely deep or extremely shallow vaginas exist. You're probably not a world-record setter. Don't sweat it. If it's impeding your comfort or enjoyment of sex, you may want to see a doctor, but I can assure you that guys don't care about this.
3. What color it is.
It's a vagina. It's whatever color it's supposed to be.
Let's get real: your vagina definitely has a smell, and there is no Yankee Candle called "Excited Ladyparts" for a reason (that reason being that what kind of creepy person fills their apartment with vagina scent?!) But that doesn't mean it smells bad. Everyone's vagina smells different, and honestly, that smell is usually a turn-on because it means (1) we're close to your vagina and (2) you're turned on. Some have stronger scents than others, but if you practice good hygiene and don't live in a waist-deep bog like a swamp monster, you're fine.
5. If your vagina gets crazy wet or you squirt during sex.
This is actually pretty cool and we'd like to think it's happening because of us. Never apologize for it. If anything, be like, "Wow, you make me so wet!" and watch our ego soar to new heights, like Icarus, except without the melting-wings-and-drowning-in-the-ocean part. The only ocean we want to drown in is an ocean of your — you know what? Never mind. Let's just retire this metaphor.
6. If you keep a bottle of lube in your bedside table.
Honestly, we might not even notice if you're on the dry side, but if it's uncomfortable for you, grab the lube. Yes, it might feel awkward to bring up, but it's way less awkward than having to get in the car and drive to the hospital together because you have chaffage, and when we get to the doctor, he's like, "You idiots. Didn't you have lube?" And you're like, "Yeah. I did. But I didn't want to use it because I thought it'd be awkward." And then the doctor is like, "As awkward as this conversation we're having right now?" And you're like, "Nah. I guess not." Definitely not as awkward as that. In conclusion: Guys understand that lube is not just for old ladies, it's for every lady.
7. How long it takes you to come.
Unless this is a several-day ordeal and we need to request a week off of work to get your taco poppin' (sorry, I heard that on Twitter) we can handle the 20 minutes and change to make sure you're satisfied. Also, don't think about how long it's taking. Just relax. We're into it.
8. The fact that you have a larger-than-average clitoris.
Unless it's bigger than our penis and it's going to make us feel inadequate, don't freak out (note: that's pretty much impossible). If anything, a larger clit makes things way easier for us and way hotter for you.
9. If we need to pick up an extra passenger (your vibrator) on the train to Orgasmtown.
Is it ideal for us? No, ideally we'd be a crazy sex god who can make any woman come just by looking at her. Should you miss out on an orgasm because we aren't that? No. Just get in a position like doggy-style and grab your vibe and we'll think, Hey, doggy style! and not worry about what else is going on.

Top 10: Traits Attractive Women Look For In A Man
at·trac·tive
əˈtraktiv/adjective
adjective: attractive
- (of a thing) pleasing or appealing to the senses.
- (of a person) appealing to look at; sexually alluring.
1. A Sense of Fun
This is the big one: Absolutely nothing is a bigger turn-off to attractive women than a buzz-kill. All women -- especially the most attractive ones -- are looking for men who like to have fun and do adventurous, unusual, even dangerous things.
2. A Sense of Humor
It’s true; humor is an aphrodisiac to attractive women. If you can keep her laughing, everything will go your way no matter how you screw up otherwise -- all because attractive women are magnetically drawn to men who crack them up.
3. Class
If you show just a touch of class and culture (in other words, not so much that it’s boring) attractive women will pick up on it fast. So what exactly is “just a touch” of class?
4. Dominance
OK, big fella, listen up: It’s a scientific fact that attractive women have an unconscious attraction to “dominant” men. In fact, the dominant males in some primate groups account for up to 75% of all the mating's with desirable females. Same goes for humans.
5. Romance
Most guys think it’s obvious, but here’s the real fact: Romance is powerful for creating attraction in a way that goes way beyond the whole prince-on-a-white-horse routine. Learn how to come across as the kind of man who knows how to connect with a woman emotionally and you’ll be golden. Instead of just looking at the surface of a woman, look within her to find the beautiful parts.
6. Sexual Mastery
What do I need to say? Women love sex just as much as men do. But just like everything else in life, a great lover is not easy to find. Women become instantly addicted to skillful lovers who know how to make them feel ecstasy and teach them new ways of feeling incredible. So read some books. Watch some “educational” movies. Do whatever it takes to get some moves down.
7. Generosity
This one’s your secret weapon. Attractive women can get almost anything they want in life from men, so don’t try to impress them with gifts. Impress them by showing that you spend your time thinking about the welfare of others.
8. Attentiveness
This one goes hand in hand with No. 9: More than gifts and compliments, attractive women want to know that you’re thinking about them. Even if you just tell a woman that you don’t like it that she’s out with another guy, she’ll love it, because it means you were thinking about her. Remember: A beautiful woman doesn’t wear that sexy outfit by accident.
9. Challenge
No doubt about it: Attractive women are used to being held up on pedestals and pursued by men all day long. So, if you want to stand out from the 1,000 other guys who hit on her all day long, challenge her. If you act indifferent and aloof to beautiful women, if you make them think that you’re only calling because you’re bored, and act almost disinterested sexually, they’ll often do their very best to get your attention.
10. Intelligence
Flaunt this trait at your own peril. Intelligence can be very attractive to beautiful women, but only if used in the right way. In other words, a way that’s humble and interesting. Use your intelligence to surprise an attractive woman with off-the-wall, fun ideas, fantasies and unexpected things, and you’ll charm her.
9 Science-Backed Ways Men Can Appear More attractive To Women
Psychology research indicates that women are more like men regarding sexuality and attraction than people previously thought. We explore some of the major similarities and differences between the sexes, and how men can use them to appear more attractive.
1. Look for the universal signals of flirtation.
Rutgers University anthropologist and best-selling author Helen E. Fisher says that from the depth of the Amazons to the cafés of Paris, women signal interest with a remarkably similar sequence of expressions. As she shared at Psychology Today, it goes like this:First the woman smiles at her admirer and lifts her eyebrows in a swift, jerky motion as she opens her eyes wide to gaze at him. Then she drops her eyelids, tilts her head down and to the side, and looks away. Frequently she also covers her face with her hands, giggling nervously as she retreats behind her palms. This sequential flirting gesture is so distinctive that [German ethologist Irenaus] Eibl-Eibesfeldt was convinced it is innate, a human female courtship ploy that evolved eons ago to signal sexual interest.
2. Look for someone 'in your league.'
Men and women are attracted to people who are as attractive as they are. "If you go for someone roughly equally to you in attractiveness, it avoids two things," Nottingham Trent University psychologist Dr. Mark Sergeant tells The Telegraph. "If they are much better-looking than you, you are worried about them going off and having affairs," he says. "If they are much less attractive, you are worried that you could do better."
3. Present yourself as high status.
In 1969, University of North Carolina sociologist Glen Elder found that looks and wealth tend to find one another namely, good-looking women tended to settle down with less attractive but wealthier men. Since then, it's become a well-confirmed finding in the social sciences. Most recently, a 2010 study found that men pictured with a Silver Bentley Continental GT were way more attractive than those pictures with a Red Ford Fiesta ST, and a 2014 study found that men pictured in luxury apartment were more attractive than those in a control group. Why the attraction to resources? Evolutionary psychologists say it's because women want a mate who can provide for them.
4. Look older.
Psychologists call it the "George Clooney Effect." As a 2010 study of 3,770 people showed, women often prefer older men. As they become more financially independent, they like older guys even more. "We think this suggests greater financial independence gives women more confidence in partner choices, and attracts them to powerful, attractive older men," lead author and University of Dundee psychologist Fhionna Moore said in a statement. Evolutionary psychologists say that younger women and older men often pair up because while fertility only lasts from puberty to menopause in women, it starts at puberty and can extend long into midlife for many men — and they have a greater opportunity to accumulate status and resources.
5. Grow a light beard.
While some claim that the beard trend is over, the research says it's not. According to a 2013 Australian study, the most attractive beard length is "heavy stubble," which comes after about 10 days of growth. "Facial hair correlates not only with maturity and masculinity, but also with dominance and aggression," write authors Barnaby J. Dixson and Robert C. Brooks. "An intermediate level of beardedness is most attractive," they added. It only takes a bit of maintenance to keep that 10-day beard all the time.
6. Build muscle (but not too much).
A 2007 University of California at Los Angeles study found that women are more likely to have short-term relationships with guys who have big muscles. The evolutionary signal at work here?
Sexual characteristics like muscularity are "cues of genes that increase offspring viability or reproductive success," say authors David A. Frederick and Martie G. Haselton. But Frederick and Haselton took away another telling finding: Less-muscular men were thought to be a better fit for long-term relationships.
7. Be kind.
One of the most robust findings in psychology is the halo effect, a bias where you unconsciously take one aspect of somebody as a proxy for their overall character. It's why we think beautiful people are good at their jobs, even when they aren't. But as Scott Barry Kaufman at Greater Good notes, the halo effect works in other ways too. A 2014 Chinese study found that people who had positive personality traits — like kindness and honesty — were rated as more attractive than those with negative personality traits, like being evil or mean. "Even though beauty is an assessment of fitness value, there is no reason why assessment of fitness needs to be purely physical," Kaufman writes, meaning that being kind makes you look like you'd be a stable, worthwhile mate.
8. Talk about your emotions.
Contrary to the 1950s ideal of the aloof breadwinner, women are into men who can talk about their feelings. "When men are vulnerable women find them more desirable both emotionally and sexually," says psychologist and life coach Lisa Kaplin. "Being vulnerable will not hurt men's masculinity: just the opposite," she continues. "Emotionally well-rounded men are more desirable to more women and are ultimately likely to be emotionally stable and better long-term partners than men who are closed up and unwilling to share intimate parts of their lives."
9. Wear red.
A 2010 cross-cultural study with participants from China, England, Germany, and the US — found that women are most attracted to men wearing red. It's been a symbol of status since at least the Roman times, when the most powerful men were called coccinati, the ones who wear red. Red works for women, too.

10 Health Benefits of Having Sex
Let's state the obvious: Having sex is fun. But what might be less obvious is that it's also good for you — mentally and physically. While it's something of a chicken or egg situation to determine the direction of causality — "Do healthier people tend to have more sex or people who have more sex tend to be healthier?" says Jennifer Bass, head of information services for the Kingsley Institute, there are some studies that link better loving with better living. Read on for the perks for getting busy.
By Jocelyn Voo
1. It's Time to Start Sex-ercising
While sex will never equal a kickboxing class or a session of strength training, the fact that you're getting some sort of a muscular workout is undeniable. The human body has over 600 muscles and during sex, "we're releasing and contracting all the muscles within the body," says Patti Britton, PhD, author of The Art of Sex Coaching and past president of the American Association for Sexuality Educators
2. A Happier Mood
Having sex is definitely pleasurable on a physical level, but chemically it has been suggested to elevate mood and reduce depression. The surmised reason, believe it or not: Exposure to semen. A study done by the State University of New York controlled the length of a relationship, amount of sex, time elapsed since last sexual encounter, and use of oral contraceptives to show that women who never used condoms reported better moods and fewer depressive symptoms or suicidal thoughts than those who used condoms.
3. A Stronger Immune System
Orange juice? Check. Flu shot? Check. Sexytime? Check! A study from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania indicated that people having sex one to two times a week had three times as much Immunoglobulin A (a major antibody) in their systems as those having no sex, infrequent sex (less than once a week), or — a note to your nosy neighbors — very frequent sex (3 times or more a week).
4. Glowing Skin
Forget your morning swipe of blush and overly expensive face serums. With increased blood circulation and oxygenation of the blood, a post-coital glow means a temporary brighter complexion. But there are longer-lasting beauty benefits of sex, too. An orgasm triggers a rush of endorphins and growth hormones, like DHEA, that help heal damage caused by the sun, smoking, and cortisol buildup, which is associated with the thinning of the skin.
5. Stress Relief
In 2010, Brazil's health minister recommended sex (along with other traditional forms of exercise) as a fix for the nation's high blood pressure problems, and he wasn't completely off the mark. Researchers from Scotland have found that people who were sexually active had lower blood pressure when engaged in stress-inducing tasks, such as public speaking, with those only having sex in the last two weeks charting the lowest number.
6. More Zzz's
Don't take it personal if your guy starts snoring shortly after some quality time between the sheets. That intense relaxation you feel right after climax due to an oxytocin rush can actually make you doze off faster. Big meeting tomorrow? Include an evening romp on your list of prep work for the night before.
7. A Self-Esteem Boost
Those after-sex smiles on both your faces are signs of a fun night and also a job well done. "I think when people raise the potential of sexual expression, it boosts their self-esteem and gives them a sense of being attractive, desirable, proficient, and confident," says Britton. "And that carries over into all areas of life."
8. A Stronger Relationship
Here's a perk you'll both enjoy: increased intimacy. A study conducted by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of North Carolina found that among 59 couples, those with more loving physical contact showed the highest amounts of oxytocin. Released both during sex and even while kissing, "oxytocin is the hormone that creates the urge to merge and bond," explains Britton.
9. Fast Relief from Aches and Pains
That runner's high you get after finishing your morning loop? Thank endorphins for that. That breathless, heady haze after some midnight nooky? Thank endorphins for that, too. Right before climax, a wave of oxytocin rushes through your body that in turn releases endorphins, which are similar in structure to opiates and have the same feel-good affect by occupying morphine receptors in the brain. "It's pain relief and pain killing effect," says Britton. Have a headache? Ditch the nap and squeeze in a quickie instead.
10. Staying Mentally Sharp
In addition to providing enhanced blood flow to the body, sex also increases blood flow to the brain, delivering an extra boost of glucose that it uses as energy. So, if you've got a buildup of e-mails to read or really want to finish your crossword puzzle, sex might just be the jump-start you need. Afternoon delight, anyone?

5 Things That Can Cause Vaginal Dryness

The first step in treating vaginal dryness is figuring out the source of the discomfort, especially if a dry vagina is causing painful sex. There are a number of conditions that can lead to a lack of vaginal lubrication:
- Changes in hormones. One of the most common causes of vaginal dryness is a decrease in estrogen levels during menopause, perimenopause, after childbirth, or during breastfeeding. Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation to the pelvis can also lead to low estrogen and a decrease in vaginal lubrication. “The vagina depends on estrogen for health,” says Irwin Goldstein, MD, director of Sexual Medicine San Diego, part of Alvarado Hospital in San Diego, Calif.
- Medications. Allergy and cold medications containing antihistamines as well as asthma medications can have a drying effect inside the body and cause reduced vaginal lubrication.
- Insufficient arousal. In some cases, vaginal dryness may be caused by a low libido or sexual problems with a partner. “If a partner has poor performance and early ejaculation, it can contribute to vaginal dryness,” says Dr. Goldstein.
- Irritants. Some women are allergic to chemicals in soaps, hygiene products, dyes, and perfumes. “Many women have allergies to detergents and soaps,” says Goldstein. “There can be irritants on things like underwear or towels.” Other allergens can actually include lubricants and objects that may be placed in the vagina, says Goldstein.
- Anxiety. Psychological and emotional factors such as stress and anxiety can also wreak havoc on sexual desire and lead to vaginal dryness when normal vaginal lubrication does not occur. “When a woman is anxious there is insufficient blood flow,” says Goldstein, “so she will have dryness.”
How to Prevent and Treat Vaginal Dryness
Treatment for vaginal dryness depends on the cause. Women who experience problems with vaginal lubrication due to hormonal changes can often benefit from estrogen therapy.
In some cases, doctors recommend localized treatments such as vaginal estrogen inserts. For other women, especially those who have symptoms such as hot flashes in addition to vaginal dryness, an oral medication or a skin patch that releases estrogen throughout the body is an option. And in some cases, both approaches can be used in conjunction to effectively treat vaginal dryness. “Local estrogen hormone treatments that are inserted into the vagina in the form of a ring, pellet, or cream can complement systemic medications that raise systemic levels of estrogen,” says Goldstein.
In addition to estrogen-based therapies, here are some other approaches that may bring relief, especially from painful sex:

- Lubricants. “There are a plethora of lubricants that can help vaginal dryness,” says Goldstein. They include silicone-based, oil-based, and water-based products. Lubricants are usually used to make sex less uncomfortable rather than for long-term vaginal lubrication.
- Moisturizers. Over-the-counter vaginal moisturizers can be an effective way to minimize vaginal dryness over several days with one application. “Moisturizing agents help introduce water into the tissue of the vagina,” says Goldstein.
Vaginal dryness is a common and frustrating condition, but there are ways to alleviate the discomfort. If a lack of lubrication is causing painful sex, be sure to talk to your doctor about all possible treatments.
